Throughout the past seven years, for nearly 6 million regular listeners, Thursday has been a day of excitement, a day of expectations, and wonder at what we may hear that evening. A State of Trance has brought us some of the greatest contemporary electronic records of the day and continues to provide the soundtrack to our lives. Each and every year Armin dedicates the birthday of ASOT, an entire day, to the people that make A State of Trance the most important two hours of the week. This year, the 350th episode of A State of Trance will be broadcast live from the Houtdok Zuidkaai in Antwerp, Belgium on May 1st 2008 to over 40FM stations around the world. A party like no other where the listeners can vote for who they want to see perform. Last year the like of Menno de Jong and Sean Tyas played incredible sets. The hype surrounding ASOT 350 has nearly overshadowed the ‘Armin Only’ event being held in Jaabeurs, Utrecht on April 19th. Trance is defined by smiling faces, thought provoking sounds, and likeminded people from all over the world joining to celebrate the music we love...

And what better way than a free party where we can all join and marvel at the producers and DJ’s we hear before us. The voting has finished, we have chosen…the DJ’s that will be playing at A State of Trance are:

An event not to be missed, and feeling privileged that trance originates from somewhere so close to home, Rico and his friends are making the trip. Two cars full of excited trance fans, one Euro-Tunnel booked and an anxious two-hour drive leaves the day to party, to meet fellow trance fans and share the unexplainable passion for this music we call trance. Rico and his close friend DJ PK have already been discussing tracks that could make the party, and will be providing a mixed soundtrack CD of which to remember the epic day.
