After several different guises and many years of painstaking designing, coding, and creating ricoportland.co.uk is live! It all Originated from an idea, a culmination of thoughts from Tom B, Rico himself, and Rico’s brother…The ideas produced the first site. Named Gate20, this was Rico’s earlier dj and producer alias. Initially work by Tom B on a basic site included a promising holding page and then led to Rico’s bro creating the foundations of a decent website. However, time constraints and busy schedules meant that it was only until Tom and Rico decided to re-launch the site under the RicoPortland brand several years later did the site receive the attention it deserved. And justice has finally been done, the perfect way to share what promises to be a haven for electronic music fans worldwide. Rico personally would like to thank Tom B and Paul C for their contributions and support for everything RicoPortland. Without them the visions and dreams would never have come reality.

Catch Rico’s top 10 tracks of the month, his top albums and compilations of the month as well as event reviews, club night reviews, software and hardware reviews. There will also be an online chat wall for trance discussions, as well as website links, a photo gallery of not only Rico’s sets but of reviewed nights. Rico’s show ‘Furthered Horizons’ will also have it own feature. There will be a section devoted to mixes, where downloads will be possible as well as the ordering of t-shirts and branded accessories.
