Rico closes The Night Shift with an enthralling Chilled Balearic set
The first Night Shift of the autumn sees Rico close the event at The Queen Elizabeth Hall, Southbank, with an exciting chilled Balearic set
Only the second Night Shift RicoP and the team have attended, but an event that we have spoken of so enthusiastically. The pre-show entertainment was provided by Sunday Driver, a truly eclectic mix of traditional Indian music, performed in a brilliantly original style. The crowds were soon drawn, as the anticipation for the main concert grew. . . [Read the full article]

After a fantastic night earlier this year, Rico is proud to be playing the closing set for the The Night Shift
The Night Shift is an exciting new concept, bringing classical music to the younger generation, through a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere right in the heart of London. The RicoP team were fortunate enough to attend a Night Shift event back in January of 2009, and the review can be found on the site. A sun-drenched Rotterdam the venue for the biggest party of the Spring, hosted Armin van Buuren

The Gallery with Markus Schulz at Ministry Of Sound, London
A cold and wet 103 Gaunt Street hosts one of the hottest Trance events in London
Paraskavedekatriaphobia is the mouthful that is used to describe the fear behind Friday the 13th, but there were no worried souls in sight as Markus Schulz stepped up to the decks. The world number eight has built a reputation for his epic sets at The Gallery’s former home ‘Turnmills’ and he has relished (not feared!) the move to the new home at Ministry. . . The Night Shift at Queen Elizabeth Hall, Southbank, London
The RicoP team head to the Southbank to experience a night of uplifting orchestral sounds in a relaxed, chilled-out atmosphere
The similarities between Classical and Trance are uncanny, yet certainly not coincidental. Both share crescendos, diminuendo, calando, marcato and periods of in rilievo; both share beautiful chord progressions, warming the soul and inspiring those that choose to follow. We see talented musicians both within the realms of classical and trance composing pieces designed to carry the listener on an audiological journey, a voyage through the highs and lows of sound. . .
